We sell products for homes, businesses and vehicles primarily under the SYLVANIA brand name in the US, and operate under the OSRAM brand in Europe, China and beyond. Around 60 percent of sales come from energy-efficient products.
This position requires an individual with extensive experience to handle the most complex issues, may manage other managers, product lines typically span multiple locations (including global locations & Strategic Business Segments) involved in overall business unit strategy.
In addition to all duties included in Product Marketing Manager 1, drives business development activities in new product segments, interfaces with key customer accounts in conjunction with sales teams to gain customers/market share, represents OSRAM SYLVANIA at major conferences, drives market standardization activities with external sources.
This position is distinguished from the first level manager position by the size of revenue, profit and growth rate. This position typically manages one or more PM1 level employees .
Qualifications
Minimum of a BS degree required. Must have in-depth technical knowledge of product line with a minimum of 7 years of exempt marketing, engineering or sales experience. Previous product marketing or equivalent experience required
